Steelwrist to double production capacity and at the same time move operations to Rosersberg, close to Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Steelwrist is today Sweden’s fastest growing manufacturing company above 100 MSEK according to “Dagens Industri’s Gasell-competition 2017”. Steelwrist is also the world’s fastest growing manufacturer of tiltrotators and quick couplers for excavators. In order to meet the strong growth, Steelwrist invests in a new fully automated production plant, while moving operations to Rosersberg in 2018.

Today Steelwrist sell products in more than 25 countries and has established own subsidiaries in the United States, South Korea, UK and Norway in 2017. In addition, the staff has been expanded in several European markets at the same time as the product portfolio has been expanded. Demand for Steelwrist’s products is increasing strongly from almost all continents. All production and assembly of Steelwrist’s tiltrotators, quick couplers and work tools is today based in Sollentuna, north of Stockholm.

In order to meet the strong demand, Steelwrist has signed a new lease agreement with Prologis, one of the world’s largest owners of industrial and logistics facilities.

“The new premises almost triples the production area and creates an opportunity for us to continue to grow at a rapid pace,” says Stefan Stockhaus, CEO of Steelwrist. At the same time, a new fully automated machining center from Mazak is being installed. This means that Steelwrist will have operations in both in Sollentuna and Rosersberg during 2018.

“With the latest investment in our production equipment, we more than double our machining capacity. Interestingly, the new plant is designed to run unmanned, which means we can run production 24/7, “says Peter Dovrell, Production Vice President at Steelwrist.
