Connecting work tools efficiently
Connecting work tools in an efficient way is always a good idea. Steelwrist offers a wide range of different adaptor plates and weld on adaptors for easy conversion of both hydraulically powered work tools and mechanical work tools to the Open-S (OS®) standard.
Always use the right work tools
The adaptor enables the connection of the work tool used with the machine coupler or tiltrotator coupler on the excavator. With the Steelwrist range of adaptors you can ensure that the right work tool is always used and you can easily expand your range of work tools with new adaptors. Steelwrist offers four different types of adaptors, Bolt-on adaptor plates SQ, Weld-on adaptors SQ, Pendulum adaptors SQ and Weld-on adaptors S. It means that there is a solution available to integrate all types of work tools with the Steelwrist machine coupler or tiltrotator coupler. The coupler standard defines the interface between the coupler and the work tool. All our adaptors follow the Open-S (OS®) standard for the mechanical, hydraulic as well as the electrical interface.
Adaptor solutions for any work tool with high flow capabilities
We work closely with many work tool manufacturers to create solutions where the SQ adaptors are an integrated part of the design, which enables best performance and optimal hose routing. All male couplings in the SQ adaptors include the Qplus™ technology, giving your work tool higher flow capabilities and more uptime. With hole patterns to more than 1000 different work tools, including heavy-duty demolition applications, we have the possibility to supply custom made adaptor solutions for any work tool.
Demolition work tools
In the demolition industry there are many different work tools, all specialized for the different parts of the process. Whether you are crushing, cutting, lifting, sorting, loading or cleaning, using the right work tool is crucial for efficiency. Steelwrist SQ adaptors are available for all types of powered work tools used in demolition applications.
Built on the Open-S (OS®) standard
Our SQ adaptors include oil couplings that are compliant with the Open-S (OS®) standard, and therefore work perfectly with other Open-S manufacturers’ couplers having the same dimensions and positions. By using Steelwrist SQ adaptors you can convert any work tool or attachment to Open-S. Open-S is the open standard for fully automatic quick couplers for excavators.
Converting mechanical work tools to the symmetrical standard
You might already have a range of mechanical work tools such as buckets, rippers, asphalt cutters, grading beams, brushes, pallet forks or other types of tools which you want to convert to the symmetrical standard (S-type). With our Weld-on S adaptors you can easily convert these work tools and continue to use them with your Steelwrist coupler or tiltrotator. This is an affordable alternative that breathes new life into existing work tools.
