Although the Corona pandemic is still in a very serious stage in many parts of the world, we now see that the worst is behind us in the places where the Steelwrist group operates. Thanks to the measures implemented early on around home working, short-term work, travel restrictions and specific rules about hygiene and personal distance, we have no employees that have been infected at work, and we have also managed to keep the company relatively open during the crisis.
This means that we have been able to continuously deliver products and service to all our customers during this difficult time period, and thanks to close cooperation with our suppliers we have not had any issues with component shortages during this period. From time to time it has obviously been somewhat longer response times but overall it has worked very well.
This means that we are now in a very good position to continue to deliver with relatively short delivery times and with high delivery precision as we are now ramping up as the order inflow is coming back towards normality. The job done in the last months leaves us in a good position to serve our customers with products, spare-parts and support as we hope that the worst part is now behind us.
Obviously, we will continue to evaluate the situation on a daily basis and take additional actions if need be. We will try to keep you informed on a regular basis about the status and what other measures we might take.
