Open-S Alliance strengthens global presence with four new members

The Open-S Alliance welcomes four new members to the organization, all well-known companies within machine distribution and excavator attachments industry: Earth Machine Co., Ltd. and Tokumitsu Machinery Co., Ltd. (Japan), and GP Equipment B.V. and Niroc Machinebouw B.V. (the Netherlands). With the growing global demand for fully automatic couplers, the initiative to create an open standard, launched in 2020, continues to grow in importance and attract new members.
The basic idea with the Open-S standard is to create a global open standard for automatic couplers. With a standardized hydraulic interface it is possible to combine attachments from different brands, connecting them safely and reliably, avoiding proprietary solutions that locks the customer into a specific system. The customers can select the solution that best solves their individual needs, and that supports flexible use of machines and attachments.
Open-S Alliance is happy to present the latest new members:
Earth Machine Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based manufacturer of attachments for hydraulic excavators, committed to developing products that deliver a high level of safety, cost efficiency, operational performance, and environmental responsibility, providing optimized value tailored to each job site. Earth Machine joins the Open-S Alliance as a Supporting member.

GP Equipment B.V., located in Weert, the Netherlands, specializes in attachments, undercarriage parts, and overhauls for excavators and earthmoving machinery. The company provides high-quality solutions for the construction and earthmoving sector, with a strong focus on reliability, service, and fast delivery. With its own Earthmaster line, GP Equipment offers an affordable and reliable alternative for undercarriage parts and sorting grabs. GP Equipment joins the Open-S Alliance as an Associate member.

Niroc Machinebouw B. V. , founded in 2018, is based in Haaksbergen, the Netherlands. The company is specialized in producing different types of sorting grapples and “Cardismentler”, that can be delivered with a connection with or without a slewing ring. Niroc grapples are developed, produced and assembled in Haaksbergen, and guarantees quality and durability. Through a commitment to excellent service and fast delivery times, Niroc Machinebouw continues to earn the trust of an increasing number of customers. Niroc Machinebouw joins the Open-S Alliance as an Associate member.
Tokumitsu Machinery Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer of excavator attachments specializing in forestry, recycling, and construction applications. The product range includes grapples and mechanical forks, screening buckets, shredders, and cutting tools such as wood cutters, grip cutters, and pile cutters. The company also offers equipment for vegetation management, material sorting, and demolition, designed to improve efficiency in handling, cutting, and processing various materials on-site. Tokumitsu Machinery joins the Open-S Alliance as a Supporting member.
