Bauma 2025 wasn’t just a great event, it marked another milestone in Steelwrist’s 20 year journey. With our largest ever stand and nearly 60 demo shows, this year set a new benchmark.
We showcased the SQ40 automatic quick coupler system for compact excavators, a game-changer for efficiency in tight spaces, alongside compatible work tools and the new TSX tree shear. We also expanded our third generation tiltrotator lineup with the XTR15, and XTR23.

Product Highlights
XTR15 & XTR23
At Bauma 2025, the XTR20 will be followed by two additional models, XTR15 for excavators between 12 and 15 tonnes, and XTR23 for excavators between 19 and 23 tonnes. The XTR15 comes with S/SQ60 interface, and XTR23 comes with S/SQ70 or S/SQ70/55 interface.
Common for all XTR models is that they are easily upgradeable from S to SQ interface. Naturally, the XTR tiltrotators have the low building height that is typical for all Steelwrist tiltrotators.
SQ40 for compact excavators
Steelwrist expands its SQ technology with the new SQ40 automatic coupler (patent pending) for excavators under 7 tonnes.
SQ40 enables quick, high-flow tool changes without leaving the cab, bringing the efficiency of larger SQ couplers to smaller machines. Optimized for 70 l/min flow, its innovative coupling delivers 40% more flow area than standard 3/8” couplings.
Following the S40 symmetrical standard, SQ40 is compatible with existing work tools, eliminating costly adaptations.
At Bauma, Steelwrist showcased SQ40 on two excavators, a Kubota KX060-5 with an X07 tiltrotator and a Wacker Neuson EZ50 with an XR7 rotor coupler.
