Steelwrist introduces DATATAG theftprotection on tiltrotators Steelwrist have since the introduction of safe quick couplers in 2012 lead the develpment around personnel protection with excavators and quick couplers. Steelwrist Front Pin Lock is still the only system thac works on all types of excavators. Now we broaden the scope and include theft protection with the introduction of Datatag marking.
The DATATAG marking system CEASAR, is the world’s largest marking systems for individual marking of equipment such as construction equipment, trailers, boats, motorcycles, engines etc. DATATAG is managed from the UK in cooperation with police, customs and other organizations (see datatag.com). Statistics from the UK show that the DATATAG marking reduces theft by 80% and would the equipment still be stolen, it is 6 times greater chance that it can be found.
