Attachments manufacturer Werk-Brau joins the Open-S Alliance, and the organization hosts a press conference at CONEXPO

The quality attachments manufacturer Werk-Brau Company (USA), joins the Open-S Alliance. Their membership is announced just ahead of the CONEXPO/CONAGG exhibition in Las Vegas, where Werk-Brau and several other members will participate as exhibitors. The Open-S Alliance will host a press conference on March 3, during which representatives of the organization will introduce its North American members and provide updates on the latest developments of the standard.
Open-S is an industry standard that allows couplers, tiltrotators and work tools from different manufacturers to work together, while maintaining safety functions. The member companies of the Open-S Alliance share a belief in the open standard as a catalyst for innovation in the industry. Open-S brings solutions to the customers that offer interoperability and freedom of choice when investing in work tools and attachments.
Founded in 1947 in Findlay, Ohio, Werk-Brau began as a small blacksmith shop and has grown through four generations of family ownership into a globally recognized manufacturer of high quality attachments. On March 3 at 2:30 PM, a press conference titled “Open-S – the growing global standard for automatic couplers” is hosted in the Steelwrist booth F27055 in the Festival Grounds. The conference is part of the official CONEXPO-CON/AGG program for media and press contacts. Representatives from the Board of the Open-S Alliance together with members of the organization will introduce new North American members of the growing alliance and present the latest developments. A live demonstration will show interoperability between different manufacturers’ Open-S compliant products.
