NEWS FROM OPEN-S ALLIANCE \u2013 PRESS RELEASE<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/b>The specialist attachments and screening systems manufacturer Wheatway Solutions Ltd joins the growing Open-S Alliance. The company is based in Gloucester, Great Britain, and is the first British member in Open-S. This highlights the continued expansion of the organization that now consists of 17 members from Europe, North America and Asia. All members share the common belief that through Open-S we are creating a global standard for automatic couplers for excavators, benefiting machine owners and contractors, making it possible to combine products from different manufacturers that comply with the standard.<\/b><\/p>\n

Wheatway Solutions is a British manufacturer of polyurethane star screening solutions and specialist attachments. Their flagship brand, Gyru-Star Compact Screening Systems, is a long-standing market leader in this sector. Since the company was established in 2008, Wheatway Solutions has designed and manufactured all of its products in Great Britain. Their other brands include Kustom Konnect, Liftow, and DRC. Wheatway Solutions joins the Open-S Alliance as an Associate member.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that common standards, such as Open-S, are a catalyst for innovation, driving a balance between collaboration and competition that ensures progress across the industry. Joining Open-S strengthens our ability to provide customers with innovative solutions that promote interoperability and ensure their attachments remain flexible and future-proof in an evolving industry\u201d, says Colin Smith, Managing Director of Wheatway Solutions Ltd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its foundation in 2020, the Open-S Alliance has strived to give machine owners and contractors the freedom to combine quick couplers, tiltrotators and work tools from different manufacturers following the Open-S standard. During the past year the organization has welcomed several new members, including both North American and Asian companies, and has more than doubled in size. <\/span>Discussions are ongoing with additional companies that are interested in joining, as they see the advantages for the end customer with an open standard that defines the hydraulic interface, making it possible to combine products from different manufacturers and select the solution that best solves their individual needs. Members of Open-S can more easily expand their product portfolio to meet customer needs, and take part in the development of the industry.<\/span><\/p>\n
